Zach currently attends Virginia Tech as a senior studying Mechanical Engineering. Throughout his time at Tech, he has been a part of BYX, a Christian fraternity, and involved in Cru, both of which have heavily influenced his faith over the past several years.

Zach grew up around the defense industry, which sparked his interest in the military and the Air Force. He is interested in pursuing a career in the defense industry, particularly test engineering for military-grade technologies. He enjoys hands-on work and solving practical engineering problems that can help improve and advance future technology.

Outside of work and school, Zach enjoys staying active through sports, fishing, hiking and skiing and spending time with family and friends.
