Live
experience the power of biblical community
Biblical community is where truth gets personal. It’s where we’re known, challenged, encouraged, and reminded that we don’t follow Jesus alone. In the context of real relationships, over shared meals, and honest conversations, we learn what it means to love sacrificially, forgive freely, and walk faithfully together.

And our fellows' living situations, while in Roanoke, play an important role in that. Last year we asked a friend of ours if he would buy us a house for Blue Ridge Fellows to live in. He said, “No, I’m not going to buy you a house! Houses are expensive. But I have a lot of houses. How about I give you one of the ones I already have?”
And so we came to own the Mayhue Family Fellowship House. What a lavish gift.
We have fully renovated both floors of that house and now have two separate units where about half of the fellows live and where all of them spend time together. The remaining fellows live with unbelievably generous and hospitable hosts from our church. In fact, we'd say that hospitality and biblical community are the lifeblood of Blue Ridge Fellows.

Whichever housing arrangement Blue Ridge Fellows get to enjoy, all receive free housing, utilities and food for the full nine months of the program.
