Sammie Chaitovitz

Hometown:

Lorton, VA

School:

William & Mary: Finance & Religious Studies

Employer:

InverVarsity at Roanoke College

Sammie graduated from William & Mary with a degree in Finance and Religious Studies. She enjoyed getting to take such a wide array of classes within these two disciplines, from Commercial Real Estate Finance to Modern Christian and Jewish Thought.

Sammie's three primary passions permeated everything she did during her time at W&M: mentorship, community service, and global engagement. She restarted Greek InterVarsity, a campus ministry created for students in Greek life to explore faith. She was also Director of Kesem at W&M, a national nonprofit dedicated to serving children impacted by a parent's cancer. Additionally, in her junior year she was a recipient of the Powell Global Engagement Scholarship, allowing her to study sustainable business practices and indigenous peoples for a semester in Sydney, Australia.

Currently, Sammie works as a Campus Ministry Associate with InterVarsity at Roanoke College, where she hopes to start a GreekIV chapter just as she did at William & Mary.
