Lindsey graduated from Virginia Tech, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Human Nutrition, Foods, and Exercise. While at Virginia Tech, she served as a community group leader with Cru, a worldwide campus ministry. She also gained valuable experience volunteering in the sports nutrition sector of the VT football program. In addition, she worked as a teaching assistant for a biochemistry course, where she had the opportunity to grow in her ability to effectively communicate complex concepts.

Spending her summers at Summer’s Best Two Weeks, Lindsey had the opportunity to grow in her leadership skills and intentionally invest in the lives of campers.

Lindsey now works as a Technician and Office Assistant at Magnolia Eye Center. She is passionate about caring for patients and learning the field of ophthalmology. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, running, and exploring new views found in beautiful Roanoke.
