Ben graduated from Virginia Tech with a major in Mechanical Engineering and a minor in Computer Science. Although passionate about both, he is most interested in how combinations of traditional engineering and computer science can provide innovative solutions

While in college, Ben served as a student leader for Cru, as well as the Chaplain for BYX, a new and growing Christian fraternity. Ben also is greatly interested in books, fiction and non-fiction, and the new and interesting perspectives they often offer to more richly color the world around him. Additionally, he enjoys rock climbing, a passion that has only grown since he first tried it in 8th grade.

Ben is currently honing his skills as an engineering intern at Cardinal Valley Industrial Supply, where he is being exposed to the pursuits and practices of a successful engineering company.
